18 - Beer Labels

"The strongest logos tell simple stories." ~Sol Sender

Because this is a blog about photography, I thought it would be fun to make a theme called "Beer Labels". There are 2 ways to approach this week's theme. The first approach would be to compose a photograph with the beer label somewhere in the shot. The other approach would be to pick a fun label that is unique and photograph it. Whichever approach is chosen - there is no question that this week's theme will be fun to view!

Thanks to everyone who has participated in the blog. It has been a real blessing to me to connect with everyone. In the end, it is about the connections more than the photos. The photographs that you all send in are a bonus!

Mr. Fishbones lives in the lake. He owns a dog that swims in the lilly pads.  Dan is the only one who has ever seen the dog...  Photograph by Ellen Palmer

Whippet Wheat.  I love this breed of dog, so I just had to photograph the label.  This is a regional beer, (brewed in Akron, Ohio), so my apologies to my Florida friends - you can't get it down there.  Photograph by Robin Anderson

Oberon has been one of my favorite labels for a couple years.  This mini keg really stands out at the store.  It is brewed in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Photograph by Robin Anderson

This is a regional beer.  I have tasted it, and it was good.  Photograph by Dan MacKillop
